If you do, I hope you have a spectacular time with it. Especially with how Episode 4 builds off the intrigue established in Episodes 2 and 3. Still, fair warning as stated above, the implementation of all these interesting components always remains firmly in “rough-around-the-edges” territory. i.e. a truly promising

It’s the Code font choice that’s selectable within the Normal Text> box from the comment interface.

Never had the pleasure of playing it. If it’s anything like the Sega Master System game released around the same time, I’m guessing it too is a hokey but charming Kung Fu analog.

It is so wonderfully over-the-top ‘80s with so much zest and gusto to spare. And what other post apocalyptic saga out there involves both imploding dudes with pressure point assaults and singing a grand love ballad? None that I recall.

Yeah, agreed. It definitely doesn’t remotely look like a pork chop to me. Much more Flintstones-esque chicken or meat on the bone if anything.

/comfort on Father Gascoigne. I built up so much before going into that area, and like you, did pretty well up until he entered full-on SSJ Mode©. Then I was running away barely swift enough to use tombstones for cover... until there were no more to be found. What a monster that guy is. Best of fortune to you in your

I’m glad you enjoyed Hearts of Stone so much. Agreed that the final riddle is very well implemented. I really was astonished by the level of polish and how well fleshed out the story and characters were in this DLC. They really went the extra mile. A gold standard for DLC packages, truly.

/cheer to a fellow player! Hang in there until Chapter 5/6 and then everything will start opening up! I think the Yakuza Team fretted a bit about how Kenshiro would get involved in all these wacky sidegames so they spent a bit too long crafting organic reasons, which cut into the flow of fun gameplay with well honed

Hahaha on the esoteric puzzles. Agreed. That bible one in the second episode made me feel very Homer Simpson-y. “To overcome my riddle curse, simply quote a bible verse! Thou shall not, DOH- SUBTERFUGE ROCK!” “Me: Waaahh I don’t wanna interpret hidden messages in Apostle verses!” Still, gave off a really fun Le

Yep yep, no argument there on the voice acting. To me, there seem to be three layers to modern voice acting in video games.

To my mind there are two key factors to deciding whether or not Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise is a solid fit for you:

Woooo, /cheer Fist of the North Star hype!

No problem! ^^ Definitely the major appeal of this game for me was the world building and the character interactions. I’d also add that the voice acting isn’t outstanding either.

I have no clue how it got so bad beyond utter recklessness with prior management heads. “Just keep putting it all on Red 28 a new Marvel/DC licensed property.” Hoping to get another lightning in a bottle situation as with the first season of The Walking Dead but never having that actually transpire. Hiring new people

Aww, man, old Cinemaware games. Those take me back.

Someone posted this on the Giant Bomb thread regarding Telltale’s shutdown. I have no clue as to the reliability of this data (as I don’t frequent Steam much beyond checking out trailers and basic user reviews). And obviously GOG/PSN/Physical sales have to factor in somewhere too with the equation of comprehensive succ
