Well done!

Isn't he a big anti-vaccine nutjob like Jenny McCarthy?

Saw the dress in another article and hated it.

I have KP on the back of my arms and all over my legs. It really does suck, especially since I'm so pale (although my skin feeling like sandpaper bothers me much more than the redness). I've started using serum that has lactic acid, glycolic acid and salicylic acid, no luck so far but I've been told patience is key.

It was so good!!!
Saw a photo of Knoxville and Jones on fb before the show and got so excited. They did not disappoint! Check out the Jackass facebook page to see the whopper bruise on Knoxville's thigh after they finished filming the piece - that's dedication.

Think I'm gonna go rewatch the Jackass films.

Mock the Week is a terrible show, glad John Oliver moved on from it. It's essentially the "look how controversial Frankie Boyle is" show. The comedy is so forced, it's just painful. Also I hate the fact that Dara O'Briain takes a back seat on it. He's my favourite comedian and his talent is wasted on that crap.

I'm pretty sure that's what happened with Colbert. After Steve Carrell left they were afraid they might lose him as well so they gave him his own show to make him stay.

I agree. Colbert is different enough to warrant his own show but even then there's a huge amount of overlap of news stories. I really hope Oliver is given a full time hosting gig but I cant see him getting his own show. He'd be perfect if Stewart were to step down. He's been so brilliant all summer.

I've listened to the first 78 episodes in the last week while writing up my dissertation. I'll be finished them in no time and will have serious withdrawal symptoms between having to wait a week for each new episode and Jon Stewart returning. I love Stewart but gonna really miss Oliver presenting the whole show.

He also appears to be adamantly pro-choice. He's ranted about anti-abortion campaigners loads of times on The Bugle podcast (and I'm only a 5th of a way through the episodes), a few times correcting them by saying it's pro-choice not pro-abortion.

Oh wasn't it!! I was just telling a friend about their neo-nazi links and the next thing it's on their website for all to see. That kinda group of ultra-conservatives a horrifically fascinating history, between the neo-nazi links and Niamh Uí Bhriain's mother (most famous soundbite of the divorce campaign was her

The morning show of my favourite radio station got taken over by two complete eejits over a year ago. They were saying that although it was inappropriate, it was just a bitta 'horseplay' really and people were overreacting, especially since Tom Barry apologised. After spending ages talking about how much people were

Oh this is just one of many many ways we're so much further behind on social issues because of the church. However with all the abuse being publicised in the last few years, the proportion of people identifying as practicing Catholics has plummeted. When we got our independence almost a century ago, De Valera did all

The big issue in Ireland is that most of our current TDs (members of parliament) are vehemently pro-life. The two main parties, FG and FF, (the only two that will have a majority in government) are pro-life. Labour are somewhat pro-choice but they only get in when one of the main parties needs to make up the 50%+1

He's represents my area. I was horrified when I read that transcript.

This is legal in Ireland where over 90% of the schools are Catholic. Under the Employment Equality Act of all things, a school or medical institution can fire, refuse to hire/promote or use it a reason to choose another candidate. The Act states that a religious institution (not just catholic) can discriminate if

The IMO, the largest doctor's union in the country, is so messed up at the moment. This is the same organisation who gave it's chief executive a €10million retirement package - down from an original figure of €20-25m. Recession, what recession?

There were a few posts that made reference to her gender or implied that she was female.

@candy_pants and @Temperance

I live in Ireland so I have to hear a lot of their crap. As much as I would love for someone to shut them up, nobody does a better job at fuelling their own downfall. The number of irish people describing themselves as religious has dropped from 69% to 47% between 2005 and 2011. (84% put down catholic in the census
