wtf did i just read?

Too bad he wasn’t a white guy just trying to incite a riot to overthrow the US government; he’d have been politely invited in to be booked and let go right away without even a mugshot, two years later.

I will say the memes for Bandai Namco’s fuck-up have been *fire* and I’m loving every minute of it

Based on comments here and elsewhere I feel as if I’m in the minority, but I am one of the few that absolutely loved this game and it’s overriding message. Yes, Kojima loves the sound of his own voice and smell of his own farts, but the central theme of the game is accurate and true.

Iron Pineapple (big souls-like youtuber, lots of fun stuff) did a segment on En Garde with the demo, and since then I’ve had my eyes on it, it looks just so wonderful and colorful and quirky and enthusiastic

The client is paying for a performance, not the facsimile of one. This isn’t “using software” as a tool, it’s completely obviating the need for the profession.

AAA games are considering using it for background npcs that can create unique dialogue on demand. For that I agree”

They are allowing the largest software company in the world, and the third largest company in the world by market cap, to purchase the largest game software company in the US (non first party).  That is fucking horrible.

I’m certain there’s zero chance this will lead to headcount reductions.

Ah, yes. Tell us you have no idea what working on creative projects implies without telling us you have no idea what working on creative projects implies.

They’re using an AI generator here because the characteristic fucked-up way that it tends to render human subjects is artistically appropriate to the themes of the show.

He’s kind of right - cis-gender is a group designation with negative connotations that is most often used to criticize and condemn.

But after the last 12 times, they told us they had fixed the grid!

Don’t worry. Google has and will do more to screw up Youtube revenue when they get the chance.
