I’ve done the same. In early May (mild day, in the morning) on a leisurely bike ride. It was a 10 mile trek I did a few days a week, and one day I just didn’t hydrate enough or something, as I was fit to pass out (on a ride I was well accustomed to).

For me it was Cataclysm, in Mount Hyjal, after resurrecting Goldrinn/Lo’gash and the other ancients. I don’t know why, but it was the only time in a video game that I’ve gotten emotional.
