I’m a huge fan of the book series (I fucking slayyyyyyy at Trivia Crack Kingdoms in the GoT and ASOIAF categories) — and GRRM is essentially the Tolkein of my time. I like that he writes complex female characters, some powerful and some powerless, and that no single character is simply “good” or “evil”.
