I cynically think that this very soft statement about an obviously damaging attitude of Trump’s is just a tactic to make him seem more reasonable to liberals.

Original reports about the ATV crash said Jamie Lynn wasn’t there. Unless they meant she wasn’t physically in the same ATV. I feel terrible for the family, however this is another tragic reminder of why people should not let children ride in ATVs. While I hope that this child recovers, whenever someone is underwater…

Every ATV owner I’ve ever met says how terribly safe they are yet also has a ‘totally fluke not normal CRAZY freak accident’ story about someone they know (or themselves) being horribly and permanently injured while riding an ATV. They are barely safe for adults yet people pop kids on them as young as 5 years old.…

Sick days, slow-downs, “strikes at work,” and similar tactics can also be effective. This isn’t a new issue.

Well, that’s kind of the point of a strike. Yes, strikes hurt the workers. But the idea is that the injustice you’re striking against is more damaging than the loss of wages.

This is just one prong of the protest effort. Folks who can’t take part in the strike will have many, many other opportunities.

Let me just say that Uber’s plan to raise money in an IPO is heavily dependent on subscriber growth because it is highly unprofitable. A sustained boycott of Uber will KILL it.
