High rent = high prices

Damn - haven’t thought about the Big Max Index since Econ 101 in 1996!

2018 Audi Q5 and HATE with a passion the driver assistance thingie when backing out of a parking spot. Way too sensitive and slams on the brakes even if no car is coming across blind spots or coming into view. Can’t tell your how many times it’s jammed the breaks when I was going 1 mph in a parking lot in reverse with

My takeaway from this I need to start putting ssamjang to more use on sandwiches. I love the stuff and its deadeasy to make assuming you always have gochujang and doenjang (which I do).

Agreed, I’ve never been to a Red Lobster but in my head would’ve expected the prices to be around $15-$25 per entree. Unclear if they got drinks but I can surely get a good appetizer and a seafood entree from my local restaurant in Westchester, NY (not exactly known as inexpensive) for the same if not less.

Pale, limp, flaccid fries are your favorite? Do you also like your cooked to a nice solid gray and your fried chicken to be oily and soggy?

Not the same as Just Walk Out but the Scan & Go option at Sam’s Club is a lifesaver. Using the app on your phone to scan the bar code as you put items in your cart and then hit the checkout button on your way to the front door.

I’d honest trust my dog to pick out 100 restaurants more than I would trust Yelp.

Weird - I don’t see a Sponsored Ad alert in front of this “article” or the other three articles this week about “Disney Springs, the shopping and dining district that’s part of Walt Disney World but not inside the parks.”  Shameless

Management: We want to get more single people in here, got any ideas?

Those are some sad ass looking sandwiches.

Never tried Spam. Half of me is glad I never experienced it and the other half is disappointed that I’ve gone this far in life without having had it.  Then again, I grew up in Northern NJ so our extra processed pork of choose is Taylor ham.

The Bulgarian Feta I can find is not only the best but also the cheapest. It is like half the price per lb than those pasty ass feta crumbles. Win/win.

I think the issue isn’t that food styling made it look far better than it would if you got it from the store, but that it was impossible to actually get a composed Land Air and Sea sandwich. Instead you got three separate sandwiches. Basically if you asked for a Land, Air and Sea, you didn’t get one huge sandwich, you

Ate at Chopt in the before times way too often as it was directly across the street from my office. Kebab Cobb with falafel was one of my favorites and sad its gone even though I don’t really go there any more. Definitely pricey but at least in NYC is in the same ballpark as most salad places and Toss Your Own Salad

Not the greatest at using my elbow or wrist to turn on the faucet but definitely take care to avoid touching the spices with a dirty hand. I either keep my right hand clean to use to grab/put on the salt/spices and the left hand to pat on and flip the meat or if I’m using a rub, I’ll move some to a small bowl and then

Big fan of the Hot Honey on a pepperoni or soppressata pizza and also on wings... havent used it much beyond that but it has a place in my pantry

I haven’t tried or even seen Carbone’s sauce in a store.

Cavatappi and medium shells are the tops!

I was disappointed by Fly by Jing, as well and have reverted back to Lan Go Mao as my standby. The corollary is that due to my disappointment in Fly by Jing I hesitated having a third jar of chili crisp in my house by getting the Momofuku one but may need to reconsider
