Wheelskins all the way. I’ve used them on my last 3 cars- they fit well, and look/feel great. And they thicken the wheel a bit.

My 78 CVCC is the short hatch version. I put a big-ass speaker box against that high rear wall. Couldn’t have done that with the long hatch.
