I’ve already checked, since I had some issues with one of my former employers.  Going forward, I’m going to get the documented number of payments.  I also save my confirmation emails in gmail, so I at least have that.

Any chance you asked about PSLF?  I also have Fedloan and wanted to know if the “extra” payment would count toward my 120.

“I don’t think most Americans, in their heart, want to be given something,” said Trump, whose job came from her father.

I certainly hope it’s a restoration, because if I see any farmhouse touches tucked into spaces like this, I am going to going to lose my entire damn shit. I better not see any whitewash or shiplap, so help me God, do not do it, Joanna.

I oppose the cash-bail system, but while we’re stuck with it, I’m going to enjoy this.

So how many conversations do we need to have before we get out of the greys?

And I vice versa!

I don’t know Portuguese, so I would never presume. :P

I’m picturing DRY- as in cooked but nothing on it- not even oil. And it was probably cold. I’ve had pig out moments where I shoveled too much into my mouth from the leftovers bowl and nearly choked.  Dry pasta HURTS.

I find a taste of irony that she almost died eating...when her last name means “to eat” in Spanish.

I fully support the complete elimination of caucuses. They benefit certain populations over others and, as you point out, completely disenfranchise those out of the area at the time.

I spelunked my FB page and found it- turns out the article was from Forward Progressives and is apparently dead. :(

Googling the title doesn’t pull it up either. Found a few more interesteing pieces though:

In my googling, I managed to find articles that got to that point, but not the one I was looking for. The article i can still see in my head had a list of each state, if it was primary/caucus, % minority, closed v open and who won. They also had the hard stats. I loved citing it because DATA MATTERS!

I’m so annoyed I can’t find my favorite article on this. After the 2016 primaries, and the boo-hooing, NPR (i’m pretty sure) brought all the data together and, state by state, proved the 2 determining factors were NOT open v closed (as so many Bernie Bros whined about- that breakdown was close to equal) but A) primary

If I remember 2016 correctly, didn’t he argue emphatically against “identity politics,” believing a rising tide lifts all boats, ignoring existing inequalities (cuz old white dudes don’t get this whole privilege thing).  That makes him a BAD choice in my book.

It’s a standard diet technique- drink water first if you’re hungry.  Both because you may be dehydrated, but also water helps fill you up.  I once went to a nutritionist who told me water causes fiber to expand, so you feel fuller.  Not sure it’s true, but definitely not a harmful practice.

When you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated and it’s good to catch up, but it will take a while for the positive effects to kick in.

Have you not seen the Seinfeld episode?  Where Elaine eats Princess Di’s wedding cake?

I really wish I could find a GIF of the 90s Merlin movie, where they all just turn their backs on Miranda Richardson and she disappears.  I need that thing daily.

In this day and age, you don’t need to wait for your card statement to compare and entire month’s charges.  Just go on the card’s site and check a few days after your purchase. I use Mint, so I don’t even need to take that step, but I find tipped charges take a few days to appear (they appear as pending for the
