After having a family, there’s too great a chance I would buy the farm. So no more 2-wheel ownership for me. That is, unless I somehow win the lottery and literally buy a farm. Dirt bike off public roads seems safe enough.

I could buy this is the most perfect car ever made if it also had 3 pedals.

Because we already have an NHTSA that robs of our freedom up front?

Eh. The original looks 3.0 times better.

It’s retro and purposeful and Asian. I like it. It’s that anti-brotruck.

I hate the stupid vent behind the front wheel well. Functional or not. Seems like the kinda cheeseball thing Pontiac or Hyundai would do.

Could be the best looking van I've ever seen.

Nothing wrong per se. V6 is just harsh compared to say a BMW straight 6.

How about a Miata drivetrain based Toyota four-door E30-sized sedan or 5-door hatch. 20 grand. Manual transmission only to cut costs. That alone would win back all the Jalop-hate for Toyota.

You know who else wears a hoodie on an airplane... Bob Dylan.

I have noticed this phenomenon for sure with newer-ish wagon. However, if you go for an E39 there were and still great deals to be had. I bought my 2000 a few years ago for $6000 with 60K miles. The only reason I sold it was my kids rear-facing car seats chopped off my legroom. I think the X1 is not a bad compromise

Where’s the one that tells me how grounded to the ground my car is?

Yeah, it’s called spec work. Production companies and creatives make fake “spec work” all the time. Also, no one should call copywriters, art directors, creative directors etc. “ad execs”. That’s just weird, man.

So hideous compared to classic Alfas.

Turbo everything. The brand pretty much died to me when BMW’s NA inline-6 went away. I like my motors to wind up.

Yeah but... I bet the Mk2 is just as fun to drive or more. I bet the Mk1 would be the most fun to drive of all. Would I want to commute in it every day? No, but a 2000 lb slow-ish hatch would be fun as hell.

Automatic Miata. I get so angry when I am on Craigslist and I get suckered into clicking on one of these.

Can’t remember - manual?

My 2014 burns a quart every 1600 miles. I thought it would stop once broken in but it’s not. Going to get it fixed under warranty or they are buying it back. People with the 6MT like I do almost always have the problem. Something about engine braking (which I don’t do a lot of) making the problem worse. Otherwise

My co-worker had one. It was loud as F***. Up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down. I think she needed to lube it or something.
