I don’t want more tech in my cars. It’s heavy, adds cost and more stuff to go wrong. All I need is Bluetooth and a volume knob. I have an iPhone I upgrade every two years I clip to my vent for nav and music streaming what also works as an OBDII reader. I want zero touchscreens and less gimmicks in general.

This is great news to me. When the Boomers all end up in the nursing homes (or have to move in with their silly car-hating Millenial kids) and have to ditch all their cars, more cheap toys for me. - Proud Gen Xer

So the future of Mercedes SUVs is to make them useless?

So much clown. This could star in its own horror movie.

Hate crossovers but kinda really like a lot. Too bad there's no 6MT/Tigershark/AWD combo. Sadly this fails the Will It Dog test with the rear seats up. At least for two 40-50 lb dogs. I guess by getting the 2014 Outback I got the last manual AWD Will Dog.

Someone should kill the rear spoiler on the BRZ with fire. If not, 1997 Pontiac called and they want it back.

I made the mistake (in retrospect) of getting the less interesting Protege. But mine had an MP3-inspired full autocross suspension with Tokicos, Racing Beat springs and rear sway. It would oversteer at the limit just a bit. Fun daily driver but should gotten the better looking 5-door.

Less than 100K miles. Stick. Mazda. Wagon.

The accord wagon would have been the perfect family car for us in stick/4 cylinder. What a worthless POS this was. I’d have to put my dogs on the roof.

True. Where’s my rear-engine RWD hot hatch with three pedals that weighs 2500ish lbs ? Twingo or GTFO.

The Fiesta ST would be way cheaper, more fun, more practical and less embarrassing to be see in (IMO). Slower in a straight line, but I don’t care about that.

This just makes me pissed we’ll never get a Renault Twingo in the US.

That's not to bad at all. Australian Shepherd? I have a mix.

A wagon is not a cruel place to put your dogs. This is. Where’s the freaking side back windows?

For $96K? A certified 997S, a 944 S2, a 1st gen Boxster with IMS bearing repair and some money left over for maintenance for all of them.

Well... my 2014 Outback drinks a quart of oil every 1500 miles new from the factory. Supposedly it’s only an issue this size when you choose the 6MT. There’s a fix (short block rebuild) with spotty results. Then again it cost me probably 8 grand less out the door than this Alltrack will.

So much want. Had an automatic, non-turbo, non-convertible, FWD kei-car in Japan (employer gave it to me). And it was decently fun. So this would be 5x as fun. This kinda stuff makes me despise government restrictions on what we can drive.

It's like McLaren paid the Chinese to make a rip-off of their better product. TURRIBLE.
