Stop tempting me to trade me wife's boring perfectly reliable Accord for a W220. That said, outside of terrifying cost of suspension fixes I can't see this being any worse than the E39 and E46's I've owned. In some cases I'd expect it to be more reliable.

I look forward to seeing more photos. I have to admit I'm not exactly won over by its appearance in this one photo. I also look forward to learning out its MPGs. The last incarnation was terrible in that regard.

Cartoon dog HUD? Or runs over cartoon dogs?

Busy as a bee.

Still looks terrible to me.

Best looking egg yolk lights ever.

That's what I'd have if I could get rear-facing baby seats in it comfortably. Miss my E46 sport package sedan and E39 wagon.

Manual AWD wagon and I'm only 6-10% Jalop.

Cool, because my dream is to daily drive an E63 wagon that gets 14mpg not suck oil out of my backyard.

Why is this a thing in America and not the greatest car in the world, a brown C63 wagon? I give up.

Had a blowout in my E46 on a curvy part of I-15 in CA at night and I just kept driving another mile to the next exit.

With two dogs and two boys I treat my 6MT Outback like an old shoe crossed with a cargo van. What's the point?? Put snow tires on your regular Volvo. This thing's as useless as Matthew McConaughey's shirts.

I thought it was a stupid feature at first but my E39 Touring auto wipers worked brilliantly. Maybe a two times in two years did I ever override them to the high setting. I miss them now that I downgraded to a Subaru. Then again, now my window regulators don't break every few months which is a pretty shitty feature in

I couldn't find black. Woulda done it. Had to get my manual shipped from 1000 miles away. There aren't a lot of them. But I got 1500 or so under invoice so it was worth paying for a shipping charge.

Oh yeah and I missed out on alloy wheels but I can pick up a set of those on Craigslist for 200 bucks next time I get new tires. I figure a butt-ugly Subaru is one car it's OK to get the steel wheels. Fits the intended design of the car.

I bought the base model Outback recently. I normally loathe the waste of money buying a new car but I couldn't get anything else safe and reliable for $21K that would hold two rear-facing car seats and be moderatley fuel efficient and fun to drive for the same price. It's only the third new car I've ever owned and the

So you're saying my idle browsing of Autotrader/Craigslist/eBay when I should be working will one day lead to PROFIT!? Cool. But seriously, if I found a 500E for the price I'd have a hard time letting it go.

Living in Atlanta I'm just pissed I didn't find this 500E before you did.

Are those little dictator flagpoles on the front bumper? Love it.
