I had a terrible mother. She was bi polar-her mania expressed in rage and unpredictable behaviour- we moved every 4 to 6 months when she was manic. Her depressive stage she was silent, cold and withdrawn. Oh yeah, and an absent father.

Oh! Here’s the thing- you can ALWAYS blame the mother. Smothering/cold, overbearing/distant, irresponsible/controlling, rigid/erratic. Doesn’t matter. She did something to fuck her male child up.
