Hi Fi rush feels like it sprang from the same moodboard as Sunset Overdrive

It seems very good! Frustratingly, got soft locked into my camp, all my followers starved or left, and I gave up and started a new save game! Then that save got soft locked on day one, with time not passing, but each time I load the save, my followers faith has eroded as if I’ve kept playing. No money, no food. Lots

In the above quest, there are a number of prompts which say “Place Worm” and it became a meme with my raid crew. The way the gun works, if you get kills with other weapons, then switch to it and fire, the first literal worm you lob has its explosive damage increased, up to 20 times. In our crew, you must declare

He really thinks a contrived 90s cable CG looking ‘cyberpunk’ city in which the ragged band of misfits have a pimp hat fake accent eye patch caper in is “dark”?

I *hate* this idea but accept it as headcannon because it’s better than Palpatine being raised and lowered rhythmically by his hydraulic arm over some absurdly accepting and supportive partner

It’s ALL. Bad.

Apparently they just De-monetized the channel. But as comments point out, they’ve done the same to gay youtubers for just being gay.

Way more concerned that the key executive connected with a Red Sonja film has the phrase “agenda driven fake news” in his repertoire in this context. This cannot be good news for the content of the film.

I’m calling BS. How can we accept bold claims like “Three Times More Comfortable” without independently verified comfort numbers?

Why didn’t they do ANY sound design?

Same concerns. They adapted Witcher from a well loved and deeply original property which represented a unique take on a genre. They’re adapting Cyberpunk from a roll playing game which was creatively bankrupt enough to name itself after the subgenre it cashed in on. We now get to see if CD Project Red is capable of

Since we’re in spoiler territory, I wish you had gone just a little bit more in depth and talked about the reveal that Lavos is NOT a demon at all, but a extraterrestrial planetary parasite with a lifecycle that allows it to crash land as a meteorite in early pre-civilization stage on a given planet, manipulate

Your first link there about the Giant Statue actually links to the same cat face, FYI.

This is my fault. I spent so much time fighting Fascists in Wolfenstein that I slacked on fighting fascists in Destiny.

..THE GREATER GOOD

I’m excited. As it’s been said, while the existing movies are at least a little endearing and we love to cheer for Guillermo and Pearlman, they’re pretty far off from the comics and kind of bland in execution. I’m super excited to see Mike push more of the Noir atmosphere and deep lore of his work onto the screen.

(Ghost In The Shell is not set in Tokyo)

Sorkin adapting Warren Ellis is a personal fantasy of mine. It’d work too! Imagine Planetary or Global Frequency in the hands this guy. He’d nail the competency porn AND the banter! C’mon!

This is exactly what I was afraid of. It somehow assembles every detail and concept of the original scene, multiplies them into an overload so far beyond the original, and yet captures precisely none of the atmosphere and visceral effect. Feels like I’ll end up seeing the casting as the least of its problems, despite
