I’ve been really disheartened with the public response, with people acting like women being harassed off the internet is just some passive condition, like the weather. No, someone did this maliciously, and needs to be punished. We can’t accept or normalize this.

Which is just shorthand for “you don’t have a right to privacy.”

Wow. I mean there isn’t so far as I know anything explicit in the Hooters, but you do seemingly have a bunch of servers enduring low key (or more intense) sexual harassment so they can pay the rent or afford their children. It’s at best a depressing place to take children.

but I’m not going to jump down someone’s throat for using words like that in casual conversation.

Even if Family Guy and South Park are truly satire and mean no ill-will towards groups that they mock, their fans are boys and man-children and “they know not what it means”. But they aren’t. Parker and Stone and MacFarlane (not the only ones) are puerile cultural shitstains making a buck off their emotionally

As the story notes, it is a tactic to keep the plaintiffs from appealing. I see it all the time. The plaintiffs will agree to not appeal, and the claim for fees and costs will be dismissed. And, yeah, you should if you are out 700K for a frivolous claim. I see people all the time bitch about what a sue-happy society

Cinemark offered them free movie passes instead.

jesus skateboarding christ....

In their final moments on earth, these poor girls were fully aware that their own mother was going to blow them away just to spite their father. On his birthday.

“both of us are really uncomfortable with the pretension of waiting for the servants server to come refill it)“
