I bought a spare mostly complete engine and another block with pistons for my 1990 Jaguar XJS. I plan to build a smooth running engine to swap into the car so I don’t have to park it for months while I do the work.

I believe it was either the book Go Like Hell or the documentary The 24 Hours War.

I believe the correct term is “I’ll be in my bunk.”

One thing to note: Miles was denied the win because his car started near the front of the grid. The rule stated that in the case of a tie the racer that started farther back (and thus technically drove a longer distance overall) would be the winner.

That stupid obscure rule cost Ken Miles his last chance at Le Mans and what would have been the crowning victory of the best year anyone has ever had racing the major endurance races, as he had won both Sebring and Daytona in 1966.

Sweet! Now I'll be able to afford one if they ever take $100,000 off the price!

You should look up the ones powered by old Huey turbines. Very fast, VERY pricey.

From Dictionary.com:

I’m thankful for my 1990 Jaguar XJS:

I used to think the pinnacle of automotive achievement was good ol’ American Muscle. I learned about Mustangs from my dad and up until a few years ago, that was my dream car. I owned a ‘67 coupe in high school (dubbed by my father “the rustang”), a 2012 GT, a 1996 GT, and a 2005 GT. I always thought the best car ever

If you are on a windows computer you can get the symbol for degrees by holding alt and typing 0176 on the number pad.

I have a 1990 Jaguar XJS that I daily drive to work. Though it may have taken some work to get everything going, that V12 exhaust note (very unique around here) makes it well worth it. I've had many ask why I haven't swapped it to a small block Chevy, but I always reply with "why would I want to?"

Recently bought one for $1,500 and it has actually been drivable for one week out of the month I’ve owned it so far! That’s a win, right?

Mercedes shipped one die to Germany and two more to Clarksville, Tennessee. They should be getting production going again soon.

Looking back, I always hated this movie for what it did to mustang prices. I was sixteen when it came out in June of 2000 (not 2001) and saw the prices of some of the more desirable models double or even triple in the next few years.

Too bad you’ll have had to have previously bought a Ferrari set to be eligible to purchase this one.

I had the exact opposite experience with the ‘96 GT. This was probably because my previous mustang was a 2012 GT with the Brembo Brake package, but the ‘96 I had felt terrible to drive. Whereas the 2012 always felt lively and ready to rock, the ‘96 felt like if you weren’t trying to push it hard it just did not want

2016 Infiniti Q50. Got bumped up to it because the rental company didn’t have the original car I reserved. This model had the 3.0 Twin Turbo V6, which I did not notice until I started up the ramp to get on the interstate. Having never driven a turbo’d vehicle before I was definitely surprised by the kick in the pants

Wait, where’s Torch’s suggestion?

I want one of these, even if they are useless.
