+1 for the no touchscreens. I absolutely hate that the heated seats and rear air controls on my wife’s 2011 Explorer are only located on the touchscreen, meaning it takes multiple presses through different screens to change the cold air blowing full blast on the kids in the back. Not exactly a safe thing while…
I don’t care so much what’s on the stalk as long as automakers stop putting them on the same side of the steering wheel as the stick on a manual. I shouldn’t have to do anything with that hand but shift gears and steer.

Not really about driving, but the revenge was on the guy’s truck. A group of kids I went to high school with rolled our yard one Halloween, which ticked my dad off. One of the guys on the football team made the mistake of admitting he was there (a mistake because he lived 1/4 of a mile down the road.)
Let’s see... ignition lock means no warming up the heater in the winter or firing up the a/c in the summer without someone in the car. Also hurts the ability to enjoy drive-in movies. That’s a no-go.
