Does infection only confer a short-term immunity that fades, like the coronaviruses that cause colds?”

They take longer to get on and off, but most of the time I prefer the masks with cloth straps that you can tie to the exact fit you need over the elastic loops. The only time I use the elastic loop ones is around my apartment building. I keep one of those on a hook by the door for quick runs to the trash chute or to

Have you ever tried any other gin cocktails? I would try a much more diluted gin highball before writing it off entirely. Gin and tonic is a classic of course, but you could also do something like gin + lemonade if you want to taste the gin more without the competing flavor of the tonic. If you don’t like those

Or just switch to Rockstar Xdurance or Bang energy drinks (300mg per 16-ounce can, stronger than even Starbucks coffee ounce for ounce.)

I’ve found wet food much better for a cat that tends toward being overweight. Lets them have a much larger volume of food for the same calories. Mine gets a 3oz can per meal, twice a day. This could easily be divided into 4 half-can servings.

I mean, the can/bag guidelines are from the pet food company. Of course they want you to feed your cat more so you will buy more.

Although if someone invents the aforementioned refrigerated automatic feeder for wet food I will totally buy it, and maybe even contribute to the Kickstarter!

So my big issue with this is that everything I’ve read suggests that wet food is much better for cats. Until someone invents an automatic feeder with a refrigerator or that can open cans, the automatic feeder suggestion doesn’t really work well.

In the wild, an animal eats when it’s hungry, stops when it’s full (unlike most humans).”

I guess it depends on where you are, as I would be barely leaving the house outside of going for walks if I were in Florida right now. But based on what we’re learning about transmission and depending on where you live, can’t you possibly do some of these activities for real right now? Like you just posted an article

I’m still really proud of myself for buying weights (a set of Powerblock dumbbells) back in March as well. Also just ordered a 25lb kettlebell on Amazon as my 18lb one (which I got as a gift pre-pandemic) is getting a bit light for me at this point. Said 25lb kettlebell was still overpriced at around $50, but I’d

In normal times I am picky about my hand soap (Mrs. Meyer’s, only certain scents). Currently using one of my less preferred scents, and there was awhile where I had to use SoftSoap because that was all I could find. But that’s different from just not being able to find hand soap at all.

It’s good that people are finally doing this, but these all sound like good things to do even when there’s not a pandemic? You could easily be out sick for a week plus with the regular flu as well, for example. Or you could get in a car accident, etc.

Doesn’t that mean that some people will make more on unemployment than they did at their job? $600/week is like $15 an hour. Lots of people make less than that in most states.

Short answer - 99% of the time, the answer is no. Main reason above all is that with the new increase in the standard deduction, 99% of people are not even itemizing deductions at all.

I don’t understand how this could possibly work. Doesn’t freezing just basically put bacteria and viruses in suspended animation, but leave them alive and ready to infect again once defrosted?

This is how I do it. But you should probably still wash them after 2-3 uses max. Not for virus reasons but just for general cleanliness reasons. In the same way that you can maybe wear a t-shirt a second time if you let it air out for a day and didn’t do anything strenuous while wearing. But you still need to wash it

It’s worth noting that New York City just passed a law limiting the fees that delivery apps can charge the restaurant. For restaurants without their own website, if you don’t have cash (or want contactless delivery), expecting people to call and read their card number over the phone is a big ask. With the new change

Idk I feel like it’s also possible that people end up touching their face more to adjust the mask, no?

I am not opposed to a prepackaged snack cake, but found Honey Buns disappointing. I think I expected a lot more cinnamon than there was? I spent the whole time wishing it were a normal cinnamon roll instead.
