My father worked in a steel mill. It was horrible, dirty dangerous work. It was like spending 8 to 10 hours a day in hell. There was no art involved but it sure as fuck wasn’t cowardly! He did it so his children would be secure enough to pursue careers where we could celebrate what it means to live a life.

Actually, it is. Because as soon as you start making exceptions because “the person wouldn’t have any advantage” you open a Pandora’s box. Banned substances either are in your system or they are not. As soon as you start trying to judge intent, you might as well just let it be a free-for-all.
