I actually think Jo seems more actually annoyed with Chip, but legitimately and on the inside. She’s always rolling her eyes and looking perturbed in the later seasons. She seems sick of playing along. Which is funny because her church preaches subservience of wives to husbands.

Not all divorces are traumatic. Me and the ex parted ways on amicable terms, and though we rarely see or speak to each other now due to living in different states and generally having moved on to new phases of our lives, we are both very capable of hanging out with mutual friends on the occasions that require it.

I get why the concept is popular. What I don’t get is that HGTV has dozens of shows that are functionally identical and all popular.

I’d be willing to bet they’re contractually obligated to continue. I would’ve hoped a domestic incident involving police would’ve invalidated it, but if no charges were filed they may both be stuck.

I cannot imagine the torture of working with my ex-husband in front of cameras while we were separated and divorcing. I don’t know why these people are torturing themselves like this.

I have wondered that myself. I think he just keeps going after new girls that arent apart of the show and they go with it in hopes they can be the next “Lala” and get a steady bravo paycheck and not have to work their shifts.
