Slightly off-topic: IS anybody other than me finding it a little creepy that his daughter Ivanka, seems to be preparing to fulfill the FLOTUS role? Honestly, as a lover of this show, I don’t blame you. There essentially isn’t a speck of true happiness in it, and all of the characters are terrible people in their own way so it’s hard to root for any of them. Whenever I watch it I feel like there’s a heavy blanket of doom that’s been laid over my body. 

Are your in-laws my grandmother? When I was 4 my father was in the hospital. My mother didn’t want to take me with her (not the right place for a child) and my grandmother wouldn’t watch me.* Thankfully my then best friend’s mother pitched in and became my babysitter for all future hospital visits.

When I was in the third grade these religious girls told me that because I didn’t believe in god I would be “a goat on his left side” but the young would be “sheep on his right side”, whatever the fuck that means. Anyway, then they said they wouldn’t talk to me or be my friend until I promised to believe in god. Then…

My 14-year old son was hospitalized for complications stemming from his appendicitis surgery this past week.
