You leave if it's not an ok place for your kid. "bar" and "brunch" are very broad terms and within that I think people can use their judgement about places that are a good fit for bringing a baby.

I think the way to teach kids to be quiet and well behaved in public is to take them places well before they are 4.

Eh, I bring my baby to brunch and have brought him to (some) bars. He's not a loud baby and since he's been going out since he was a few weeks old- he doesn't freak out about being in a strange place and behaves in a pretty calm manner. That being said- if he doesn't- we go home. Similarly, if it's close to bedtime,

she's so pretty! And it had nothing to do with her waist.

I do agree that it doesn't last all that long, but it's incredibly comfortable and doesn't give me panty lines. And it's dirt cheap!

Yes!! Not gonna lie-I need some new cheapo yet oh so soft Gillian O'Malley modal cotton underwear.

This is such a good example of random people treating women of childbearing age like public property every time we leave the house. It shouldn't matter to anyone other than myself and my husband how I feed/raise my child. But no matter your choices (be it nursing in public or formula feeding in public), people really

If she wore the baby it would probably just sleep through her lawyer shit. And be fairly well protected from germs to boot.

OMG it started with "Dolly Parton weighed 99 pounds and that was 2 2 2 much...."

I was in labor for 34.5 hours with broken waters the entire time time. (This, fyi, makes contractions more intense and also smells fairly unpleasant.) I pushed for 5.5 hours. No epidural. Suffice to say the horror story part is that while I didn't tear all that badly, I did have extreme swelling. Each of my labia was

I dunno, I'm attending a wedding this weekend in which both parties met while in their 30's. I think there are guys in their 30's getting back into the dating pool after long term relationships that didn't work out and guys who have made a career change and are ready to start dating again after re-establishing their

The youth fetish in this country continues to astound me. As a teenager, I was oily skinned and really kind of gross. In my early 20's I was marginally less oily and gross, but still didn't know how the hell to dress or take care of my hair. I was also in bad shape. I feel like I really didn't hit my stride looks wise

I have a sort of specific genre of travel clothes I wear on planes which is cute, casual, comfortable and unlikely to wrinkle. So this usually involves nice dark legging or dark jeans with a nice top and sweater, a circle scarf, and attractive slip on shoes or boots- depending on the season. Hubby tends to wear slacks

I am a woman and traveled for work quite frequently (once or twice a month) for about 3 years. (Until I had a kid, which has put a dent in my overnight work trips.) Never got extra screening. So I dunno.

Oh I've enjoyed Unicorn Period's trashy cousin then! Vanilla Vodka and Raspberry Ice Crystal Light. Let's just call it a glitter belch.

Thank you! I have a young first marriage to a despicable person in my past and thankfully my husband doesn't see it as a "sign" of anything!

Disagree. You can remove a running skirt when you need to pee without getting totally naked.

Newborn BM's aren't solid. They look exactly like grainy german mustard if the baby is breastfed, actually.

I stick with the advice that you should only wear a trend once in your lifetime! So for me, scrunchies will go the way of cargo pants, doc martens, and the tiny floral prints that are filling up Forever 21 and making me want to say "I wore this when I was YOUR age!" to all the middle schoolers in there. :) I will say
