@maybeimamazed02: I've never had a problem taking a razor in my carry on. worst thing that can happen is that they'll take it away and you buy a new one in L.A., so I say it's worth a shot to try.
@lascuba: Do you need to use shampoo? I just wash my hair with conditioner most days and can easily go a week without dealing with the harshness of shampoo (this technique is good for dry/curly/damaged hair). That would save you a bottle at least.
It stinks for this guy that he has to take on a financial burden that he didn't want to take on. And it sucks that he and his girlfriend agreed on one thing and then she changed his mind.
@LoSpaz: For Jazzfest in New Orleans, I always wear water shoes. Flipflops can be really uncomfortable if it's muddy but even if it's not wet- water shoes are breathable. They also keep dirt out of my feet better than flip flops, but are cooler (temp. wise) than rubber boots.
Anyone have any good recommendation for walking shoes that look cute with a dress?
@sportz.star: A sports bra, to be removed just before going to sleep is a good addition to a PJ set for those of us who are inclined to be nipply.
I think that the flesh colored bottoms were amusing. My only issue with the outfit was that the colors she selected for the tennis dresses didn't go with the bottoms to me- which does kind of bug me. But then again, I obsess over brown or taupe with black and black with Navy- although I know some people feel fine…
@esquared: I'm really just looking for an excuse to buy this and give it to someone just to see the expression on their face.
@MizValentine: I really love microwaved frozen peas too!
I'm not registering. My fiance and I have entirely too much stuff as it is. We wrote out a nice blurb on our wedding website about how the company of our loved ones is the greatest gift we could hope to receive and linked an optional charity (a non-profit vet/spay & neuter program) in case people really wanted to…
@AfroJezeBella: hyponatremia. [en.wikipedia.org]
@cate3710: Agreed. I am anti-socks. I wear them with my flats in the winter because I must, but I think my shoes look much cuter sock free.
When she said she'd preferred a man who had never kissed another girl, I thought of one time I kissed a guy who had never kissed a girl before. Part of it was the fact that he'd taken a sip of water before we kissed, but years later I would still recall that kiss with a shudder and describe it using the phrase "Like…
@Writingirl: This is how I feel. I have absolutely zero interest in doing fertility treatments and when the time comes, would rather not even do the whole "take my temperature to find out when I'm ovulating thing." I don't want to stress about it and though I'd like to have children, I think there are a lot of awesome…
@Zulkey: Haha yeah for me it was when I finally got a "real" job. I crossed that mental line where I knew I could take care of someone other than just myself.
@MollyGrue: Yeah and I would probably answer the same way, although I am on the pill and not planning to start trying for a year or so. I'd still say that I'm okay either way.
This makes me so sad. I really love fragrance and I feel like I'm not fully dressed if I forget to put on a little perfume. My favorite scents aren't on this list, but who knows what's in them?
I just remembered a really cute story one of my sorority sisters used to tell. Her grandmother's name was Ada. and her maiden name was Berry. (So if you say it, it sounds like "Ate a Berry" right?)
