CosRx patches as @sailor jupiter mentioned.. Life changing. The article doesn’t actually live up to it’s headline. You CAN spot treat acne, but if you have chronic acne than you are just treating the symptom and not the problem. If you get a once a month zit, than spot treating is fine and CosRx is perfect.

This is the least terrible advice you’ve given in weeks.

Agreed.  My sister and I have phone numbers that are the same, except for the last to digits.  We routinely will be talking to each other and I’ll get a spam call and she’ll get it about 30 seconds later.

Lobster is down to $4.99/lb here in Mass and is supposed to go lower according to guy at the fish counter.  No complaints here.

Restaurant.com is one of the worst companies out there.  Predatory sales practices, contracts that are impossible to get out of for restaurants, and allegations of flat out lying.

I had one of these over the weekend as well, but just one. It was a lyft confirmation from months ago so maybe I never read it. I also don’t use the default messaging app. I figured it was because my phone has been buggy since I updated it last week.

Having spent a number of years working with victims, and having survived a stalker myself, abusers will find a way to use anything and everything, often in a way you’ve never even considered. I was stalked via tech nearly 2 decades ago. The best thing these companies can do is provide victims with the power to control

$800ish for two adults, not including restaurants. Yes, it’s high but we compensate in other areas of our budget. It’s a combo of things, I try to buy organic when possible, we both have active lifestyles, particularly my BF (I’m amazed at the amount he eats sometimes), and we are both enjoy cooking. An astonishing

I despise that question. My nieces’ great grandmother asked her (age 6) if she has a boyfriend, and I wanted to punch something. Great grandma isn’t related to me so I bit my tongue, but ugh. I find asking little kids for lists is helpful. What were your three favorite things about school this week? What are five

This is super confusing as a policy. Do you have PTO as part of your package? It should be your time. Whether you use this for a fancy vacation, taking care of a sick kid or running errands is irrelevant. Definitely take vacation for some job interviews.

Long story as to why, but I researched GA candidates for the Democratic primary. This election is going to get nasty, and facts are not going to matter.

UPS has a habit of leaving my package, but marking that it is “signed” for. I’m just waiting for the massive disputes when one of those packages is stolen off my front porch.

Papa Johns phone number in DC is 202-Big-papa. 15 years later and this is the shit I remember from college. Their marketing plan may be as good as their garlic sauce.

Fun fact: The Barking Crab had an issue (years ago) with sewage backing up under the restaurant, which was then pumped into the lobster tanks. Long food may be the least of your concerns.

In a quick serve restaurant I would expect my food to be ready in less than 10 minutes, 20 for a casual Friday’s type restaurant and 30 in an upscale restaurant and 45 in a fine dining restaurant. Of course in a fine dining or upscale restaurant I’m likely not ordering just an entree and things should be timed

Unless the restaurant is microwaving all their food this is extremely tight even for casual chains.

The short answer is yes. But there are some caveats to that. Reasonable (and having worked in restaurant management, not everyone has a grasp on this) expectations, communication and respect are key. I wouldn’t leave without first inquiring as to what is going on and letting them know, I can only wait X more minutes.

I had this all set up in Gcal, along with birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions, until google decided to end my recurring events with no end date. Yes, I’m still bitter. It’s also a great idea. Checking in a few days or weeks as the sadness of an anniversary starts to creep on people is a good idea, as well as

Funny how everyone in Boston has forgotten how much they miss him and how they cried over him being traded. Full disclosure: I’m so much of a Celtics fan I had a parakeet named Larry.

If it’s easy for you, what do you typically pay for steak at Costco? We’ve been throwing around the idea of getting a membership. SO is anti-membership cause he likes to run to the store multiple times I week. I’m pro-membership cause budgeting, planning and he likes to eat expensive things.
