The President is over 70 and came up in New York City during the publishing boom, has a strong connection to the tabloid media, and is obsessed with his own legitimacy. It’s why he had someone make him a fake TIME magazine cover until he got one because that’s the kind of broad approval he thinks it represents.

Mike Huckabee is a fucking turd but what he’s up to is serious. Trump has planted the seeds, via “jokes,” that he might just be president forever. Now you’ve got Huckabee manuring the field by going on TV and proclaiming that Trump gets a third term because he got “cheated” out of time that belonged to him.
