I get the issue from a marketing perspective, but the product itself is a driving aid. Using even remotely properly, it does nothing but make your driving experience safer. You are taking an existing product (a car) and making it much safer with driving aides. The issue is the marketing, not the product.

They also ignore the fact that giving teachers guns puts their lives at risk not only from the shooter, but from the police. When the cops show up they cannot tell the difference between a good guy with a gun and a bad guy with a gun. Cops are taking out anyone with a gun in a situation like that.
