Yep. I read Shock Doctrine when it came out several years ago and I think about it constantly lately. THEY ARE DOING THIS ON PURPOSE. When everything goes to shit, they can do whatever they want and the vast majority of people won’t notice, or if they do they won’t have the energy to fight back.

I still think you need ALL the protesters. You need as many as you can get. Yes, some are more valuable than others. Yes, of course, you should protest AND vote. But protests need bodies and it doesn’t matter a whole lot why the bodies are there. I just find this to be kind of a worthless purity test.
