I really thought the title read plot and I was trying to figure out why the producers were being so hard on the bad plot choices they’ve made.

I sort of consider it an investment. To begin with, I worked my ass off to pay down a 30 year mortgage in 11 years, so I own it outright. I’m paying less in taxes than I would in rent and my property and town/county taxes help me with the other, IRS, brand of taxes.

Sort of. I don’t really expect to make much money from my house. Too many people think that their profit on a house = (sell price - purchase price) / purchase price.....without including all of the interest paid, taxes, maintenance, insurance and transaction costs.
