I would amend that to say it only applies to the first season. Having just rewatched a few weeks ago, the second season is really quite excellent.
I wasn’t doubting the issues (there are plenty of posts about it that are easy to find) I just thought it was odd for it to happen on the more powerful version of the PS4. And also for there to be any real difference between peoples experiences on console, given that they’re basically running on the same machines.
That’s really weird. I played it several times through back when it first released on the non-Pro PS4 and don’t remember any performance issues. Certainly nothing that would make it unplayable.
I’m not sure where you got that information, but a shot to the abdomen is actually one of the LEAST likely ways to kill someone. Survival rates for an abdominal gunshot wound are somewhere between 85-90%. The odds of hitting a major artery there aren’t particularly high, so you aren’t going to “bleed out quickly”.
And where would a charity store tens of thousands of a product that even Funko themselves can’t get people to buy? It’s the same problem.
Plastics recycling is pretty much a myth. We don’t recycle virtually any plastic here in the states because it’s too expensive to do so. We’ve been selling our shot to China for years instead, but now even they don’t want it.
If you don’t buy it, you’ve never worked in warehousing/logistics. All that shit costs a LOT of money to store month to month.
Bonus points for mentioning Kings. I adored that show and actually bought it years ago simply so I could watch it, since it wasn’t available anywhere.
Lilyhammer was definitely the first original series on Netflix. I remember watching it specifically because of the big marketing push they gave it.
So you’re correct, in that even THEY claim (or claimed in the Kickstarter FAQ) that they are NOT an MMO. At the end of the day the distinction seems to come down to what exactly constitutes an MMO.
I think you’re misremembering the Kickstarter (unsurprisingly after a whole ass decade). Star Citizen was ALWAYS an MMO. The entirely single player game is a separate offline component (Squadron 42). That’s one of the very few things about SC that’s never changed.
I love the first two Blade films, but it seems like there’s a lot of historical revisionism with the first film. Aside from the idea that it was a really great film (it wasn’t) there’s the idea that it made comic book films mainstream.
No, I’m right there with you on Wimmer. I LOVED Equilibrium and LAC and Salt were great. Although I’m afraid I though Ultraviolet was absolute trash.
I have to agree, I’m shocked this is apparently doing well. Night Court was my favorite sitcom growing up, hands down, so I’m the perfect audience for this. But the first episode was irredeemably awful.
Out of curiosity, did they say he went back to the same Nevada home? I assume he probably has one in LA or the like as well, although I guess he could be the odd major celebrity who doesn’t.
It doesn’t really matter if it’s solely about Friends. He was one of the biggest stars of literally the biggest show on the planet for years, and headlined quite a few hit movies in between/after. His career may have faded lately but it’s still plenty relevant to write a book about.
Not denying there’s always a racial double standard, because there always is. But Trump has been cancelled by dozens of companies, partnerships, social media companies, etc for his bullshit. He’s lost hundreds of millions from cancelled deals. The biggest difference is that he simply plays to his base of racists, and…
Calling him either of those names when the charges against him are basically being dropped is just an invitation to give him lots of money when he sues Jezebel.
Being recognizable doesn’t mean people want to see it. I have no interest in a Mario movie whatsoever, but given the cast (not just Pratt, but all of them) I’ll probably devote 90 minutes to it at some point.
