The “putting green” quote was from Peter Brock by the way. I'd hate to see a legend like Mr Brock not properly recognized.

Fantastic video! I miss this man.
This depends on which version you get. The regular version basically IS the same as the first one with new pants and a new headsculpt. It sound like your friend got the Deluxe version which has the new upper body.
Wait, where is she back pedaling? In the interview she consistently says that she thought it made sense for her character to wear heels.
At no point in the interview does refute that it was her choice. So... no one is lying.
I understand that they could have saved money that way, and I’m not judging whether it is a good or bad way for them to spend money. Only time will tell us that.
One of the earliest “stretch goals” that they promised was a list of big name actors to do voice work. So they’re doing exactly what they said they would with the money.
Why? Should all the characters in the game be faceless?
I think the difference with consoles is that they can still succeed if the 3rd party developers are supporting it with great games. The PS3 went from a middling console to a breakout hit in its last several years because of some great games.
Right, but I think the point is the difference in short term vs long term thinking that a company exhibits. It's funny you mention Apple, because winning the hearts and minds of their customers is EXACTLY why they're so successful. It’s well in a companies best interest to cultivate customers by supporting their…
Lol, true dat. And honestly, with the revised backstory of the Madalorians from the Clone Wars it’s not nearly as mysterious to have Mandalorian armor anymore. They’re more or less just another army.
True, but I hope we get some backstory on her next season. She’s awesome so far but she’s also probably the least developed character on the show. We don’t know where she came from or why she chose to join the Rebels, and what the deal is with her armor and how she learned to fight. I don’t need to know everything…
Thank you for saying this. I am COMPLETELY down with ridiculous, over the top violence wrapped up in B level films, but Man with the Iron Fist was atrocious on the level of Battlefield Earth. Everything about it was offensively terrible.
Kotaku had a really interesting expose on what was going on at Lucasarts during the time before the Disney acquisition. The upshot was that the development team was frequently being asked to make changes which fundamentally changed the game and slowed the process. Such as changing the protagonist from a brand new…
Battlefront 1 didn’t have either of those did it? Not that I’m arguing for backwards progress but as long as the gameplay is solid it looks like it will deliver everything I need from a Battlefront game.
With EA and DICE behind it I think it definitely will. Aside from the fact that it has a November release date, those two companies simply have the marketing power and money to make it happen. As well as releasing it in the same year as a new SW movie.
I’m not sure how much you’ve read about the development hell 1313 went through, but Disney isn’t the one to blame for it’s death. Sure, they may have pulled the trigger, but the game itself would have been a confused, Star Wars tropey mess if it ever came out at all. And considering how many massive design changes it…
I hate to say it but Disney hasn’t announced anything about releasing the original cuts of the films. The link you posted is was one of a number of unsourced rumors that a bunch of websites posted last summer but there’s been exactly zero official messaging on it.
