Each person does what he/she/etc. can do! I’m a firm believer in that. If you can’t physically turn up for a protest, do something else. If you can’t donate money, donate your time, and if you can’t donate time, donate money. There’s too much pressure lately from one’s own peers to “do more” or “do differently” or “do

I do my triathlon training in the macrame one. The parents at the Y love it when I do flip turns and show everyone my cash and prizes.

The thing about draining a swamp is you see all the rusted-out cars and dead bodies that have been lurking in the bottom for decades.

Thank you!!! White women, we need to look at ourselves because so many of us voted for Trump. It’s not Oprah’s job to influence white women, and I’m sick of seeing white women blaming her and other black people/POC for this mess. 94% of black women held their nose and voted for HRC, despite her past anti-black

It’s about fucking time, media. They are partly responsible for this shit show and should be apologizing to the American people everyday.

Umm, when the dog owners come home and their dogs have shit all over their houses that would be a pretty effective statement...

Thanks for your wishes. But if all goes well, not poor thing at all, rather, lucky me!  I couldnt be happier. It’s cataract surgery, but i’m also having a corrective prescription lens implanted - I’m going bionic!

It’s to show that society needs women. A single day where no women show up to work or do anything may open some eyes that women are more than just hosts for future male voters.

I think the point is to make the presence felt. Go into work one day and there are zero women there and for most work places it will be pretty strange.

Jesus, was this on Oprah or Coffee Talk?

Or, yes we still treat women like sexual object even tho Serena Williams, Simone Biles & US Women’s Gymnastics, Lindsay Vonn, US Women Soccer team, UConn Women’s Basketball team, Pat Summit, etc are actual people who have had TREMENDOUS SUCCESS IN SPORTS.

“....because she’s an actress.”

You must be new around here. I’m the leopard fur on Norma Desmond’s turban! Nice to meet you.

I’d imagine she spent a lot of time away working as well, which would make it harder again. It would be much easier to slip into that “living separate lives” thing if you were spending months away at a time on shoots and publicity trails. In a way, I suspect it’s not monogamy that she (and lots of other actors) have a

Also Dana Andrews, these days a rather forgotten actor — alcoholism derailed his career. But The Best Years of Our Lives will always be on my all-time top movies list. And that’s another Myrna Loy movie.

I stand corrected. She flew it, he dropped in to land it. It’s been so many years, and I mostly remember it for having both Gloria Swanson and Myrna Loy. That’s glamour!

Oh dear. While I appreciate the sentiment, and really really appreciate natural fabrics, those clothes are incredibly ugly.

One time my coworker and I were doing door at a music venue we worked at and my friend wouldn’t let this snotface frat boy into the club because he had a fake ID, and when my pal turned him away he got all huffy and and entitled and asked for our clubs “corporate phone number” and my friend said “I know exactly what

The girls aren’t pouting. Showing a little tooth is how you know they’re smiling, because they just walked past a guy who told them they’d be prettier if they smiled more.

very Thunderbirds!
