I feel like we need to collectively commit to keeping the message succinct. Life is full of nuance but I believe that nuance is useless in this current environment. That’s why “Make America Great Again” was a perfect message: everyone could project their own meaning on it, whether it was less regulations or separate

Stop it, you guys. My boyfriend George Glass was killed in the Bowling Green massacre. Have some sympathy for my tragedy.

Kellyann Conjob needs to go away or be put away.

I could care less about Beyonce. I also think whether or not she had a surrogate is none of our business. The only people it should matter to is Beyonce, her husband, her surrogate (if there was one) and her OB-GYN. It’s a private family matter. Enjoying her music doesn’t give a person a right to intrude on that.

I’m loving the Tuesdays with Toomey weekly protestors and their signs:

I used to email Toomey regularly, to the point where he put me on his email newsletter subscription list, which I did not want. That was before Indivisible came out with their guide saying that calling and showing up to events is better, so I have been calling since the election. It has gotten harder to get through

I’m neurotypical and I disregard ALL THE UNKNOWN CALLS.

State reps are supposed to be working FOR us- instead they’re locking their doors on these women and refusing to answer our calls. Let’s not forget this in 2018.

“Upper asshole” made me giggle-snort the pop I’m drinking.

That’s exactly how I feel about radio morning shows (specifically radio personalities) and late night TV. Both are rarely funny, both hardly ever attract good talent because good talent has many other better options today, both pander to the lowest common denominator, and both failed to evolve and adapt from where

“Academic politics is the most vicious and bitter form of politics, because the stakes are so low.” — Sayre’s Law.

Look, if you’re not going to respect the rodent at least respect the office, that’s recently confirmed NOAA Sec. Phil, Jujy!

Six more weeks of winter? I’ll take it. More time for me to hibernate in my home and less time dealing with the unbearably cheerful sun soakers and suffocating humidity. Cheers!

Never forget . RIP staten island chuck.

I thought this was very heartwarming. The protests are working to change America’s image.

There will always be six more weeks of winter, because of axial tilt.

Glad to hear all of this. I’ve been feeling incredibly guilty that I haven’t been at the airport volunteering, but this happens to be a hellish week for me work-wise — billing insane hours just to keep my head above water, and I can’t just walk out on my regular work and clients to camp out at JFK, as much as I want

That was such a great Full Frontal ep last night. The ACLU lawyer gives me hope too that Cheetolini’s wiping of his ass with the Constitution will be brought to a halt.

You’re too kind. I’ve been practicing self-care, don’t worry! Last night I got to just turn off my email and watch The Great British Bake-Off. And things are quieting down now that we’ve taken the first steps on our end to do something (can’t say more for obvious reasons).

Lee Gelernt is a cool dude and the ACLU’s Immigrants Rights Project is awesome and deserves all of your support (along with all the other orgs that have filed lawsuits this week fighting the executive order, which includes, in alphabetical order, the American Immigration Council, the Legal Aid Justice Center, the Natio
