I can only recommend your comment once; it'll be a great lament that I can't recommend it more times.

Actually, come to think of it, I'm surprised no one has mentioned this guy. He's a great trope of what happens all too often (especially among the early 20somethings that typically show up to the local car scene here).

I know this feeling... all too well.

I've found this to be rarely the case among the other women I know who are car-freaks/jalops. Not to say, that like dickheaded guys, they aren't out there, but lumping all of us into this one category in such a standoffish manner says more about you than female automotive enthusiasts.

This article made my day. Thank you. :) There are enough of us in the car scene that I don't think it should be that kind of a ridiculous occurrence to people to see us at car meets, the track, etc. I think possibly my biggest gripe is the last one you mentioned, about the 'bad azz street racers (vtec just kicked

For some reason, I expect we'll continue to see Mr. Zimmerman cropping up in the news every so often.

Can't say I have much nice to say about bosozoku. The only reason they're allowed to exist is because the Japanese police are a bunch of pushovers.

I've seen these on both TV and Hulu. They don't piss me off, but they are eye-roll inducing. I've always done my research, I'm part of my local car community/culture, drive stick, and am generally comfortable with going into a sales situation and bending the other party over. No male accompaniment needed. Lots

Also, I forgot to mention earlier, but I've seen on HR.net & Club4AG much nicer examples for the same money. This is car's an unmitigated disaster maybe worth only a few bucks for the shell.

  • The interior/leatherwork is ghastly

Don't be coy, Jalops. You know in your hear of hearts, the answer is the Dacia Sandero.

F&F has had an awful influence on car culture around here. It still surprises me how many people think emulating those films is legitmate modus vivendi.

This 4-series business is a serious bungle. The M3 name had cachet.

Sweet. Maybe richboy will think twice about ignoring regs again? Not only did he not have his papers, but driving around without insurance? A-Class douchenozzle.

Yes! Yes! Viva la Revolution! #HotWagon

Speaking of GT6's demo, it's now up on PSN. Not sure when it'll be available for us dirty Americans.

Watch out, we got ourselves a badass over here! /NdGT.

I have a manual, 2012 Ford Focus with the sport package and some aftermarket goodies. It's far from boring, returns great fuel economy, gets a lot of thumbs-ups (even from 'higher tier' cars like WRX STis), and fits a ton of junk inside it. It's also dead-nuts reliable. Its cousin, the new Mazda3, should be pretty

Absolutely! It is an every day, gas-sipping, fun mobile. It's got an excellent transmission, great, grippy sport buckets, solid brakes, and a wonderfully supple chassis. There's already a decent amount of stuff out for the car, and it's a complete sleeper even if you've put everything under the sun for it on the
