I’m generally pro-whatever Ford is doing these days (Fiesta ST owner and what not, and generally, they’ve been doing good by my Jalop standards)...but no manual? Really? Derp.

This is unquestionably cool. Also, ATLUS consistently does interesting games (and they definitely love dipping their feet in racing/motorsport sponsorship etc).
I really like the Beat. They’ll be legal in the states soon.... Not sure I could commit to a kei on US roads with US speed limits though.
Wow, asshat much? Do you know the circumstances of the crash? No? Okay. Please, move along then.
Two of them were damaged. He had them repaired with part of the leftover money. Jason’s since put them back on a couple times. I’ve tried to get him to sell me them several times for my FiST.
Edit: Fucking kinja’d.
You’ll certainly not make any additional power with a catless downpipe without a retune. With a retune, however, you can pick up noticeable power and torque.
Totally missing the point. Jason’s car is his, and it has loads and loads of memories in it. Just wouldn’t be the same if Sonic were replaced with a different SVTF.
Jason wants a FiST pretty badly, but I know there is no way he’d ever give up Sonic to own one. He was very jelly when I got mine.
It’s great that this story made it onto Jalopnik. I’ve known Jason for a few years and he and his wife are wonderful people. I was gutted when I saw Sonic in the state it was in (though relieved that my friends were okay). From the word go it was clear people wanted to do something to help him; Jason has probably the…
Actually, Doug, I know of at least three reputable importers who now offer financing for their 25+ year old cars. I never thought I’d see the day either.
Incidentally, I know a guy locally with an R32 GT-R named Chet.
And his is cooler than yours.
So, the real question is,
He was just trying to get caught up in the Crossfire...
According to one article Die Hard F1 Fans posted on social media, he actually hit three parked vehicles. Maybe he was posting a pic of #Roscoe?
The Focus ST crowd are already shitting all over the chessboard, NYC pigeon-style, in effort to convince themselves the RS ‘isn’t worth it’ since they can’t trade in their STs without taking a bath. It’s hilarious.
So, why not get a state-issued Non-Driver ID? Most every state does this.
I hope people realize that GS employees get their payroll allocation determined in large part by preorder sale information. No preorders, no hours allocation. It’s a job, it sucks. Corporate bosses make it that way.
My first jobs were retail, as well as food service. Nothing, aside from maybe being a janitor (oh, wait, we’re supposed to call janitors ‘custodians’ now to pretend we’re treating them better), will teach you how easily people can be shitty to other people over nothing, and how what you do in order to put food in your…
You can hate the messenger, but in this case the message is on point. The Mk7 Golf GTI is boring. It doesn’t feel special. It’s a very nice car! It’s plenty quick, too. But it’s a snooze.
Fiesta ST owner who passed on a MkVII GTi here. I’ll keep my comments in reserve, lol.
Japan is chock full of abandoned vehicles. One of my colleagues shot a bunch of them—there were a ton out in nowheresville Yamaguchi. You’d almost think it was Florida, but with more JDM.
