And when those feelings and reactions misrepresent the game?

Kotaku has quickly become the garbage negative bully reviewer. I used to come here for great articles with honest opinions but now it’s like you’re trying to find issues with every single game. Look not everything you enjoy is everyone else’s cup of tea. First off. You’re not “shooting” anything It’s a gat dang flash…
I wouldn’t write it off based on this one review. Every other one I’ve read has been pretty overwhelmingly positive. Kotaku has become notorious for writing negative, condescending, clickbait titles since the scandal a few years back and subsequent staff changes. I only come to scan headlines and see if I’ve missed…
How the fuck are you people able to be cynical even about a game like this? For fuck’s sake.
The “shooting” part, which admittedly isn’t the strongest point, ends up being such a small percentage of the game it seems weird to focus on it at all.
Heaven forbid a video game be a game. Like wtf is turns into gamey gametown? That’s like saying “Citizen Kane was great but then it descends into filmy filmtown.” Yeah, that’s what it is.
That’s okay. I'll just go to another website (Not IGN) that knows how to do a review on a video game. No video game is unreviewable, the problem is you haven't played all the games and aren't qualified enough to do this review. Hope there is a Kotaku editor that has played them all.
So at no point did you try and prevent yourself from dying by following the prompts and charging your radiation protection?
I remember that. That was so weird, it was so negative, Naughty Dog actually responded:
I’m all for inclusivity but I do wonder if this whole thing would be getting this much attention and exposition from the developer if it was a heteronormative kiss. Or is that the whole point?
This is the correct strategy. Facebook and Twitter are both tying themselves in knots trying to police content, and they’re still failing and receiving criticism. A strong filtering system lets customers avoid toxic games while shielding Valve from charges of censorship and bias.
Look, games can be and are a monumental waste of time. Its cool that you think this gets your itch scratched, but you don’t have to defend it to this lenghts, unless you get paid by Game Freak or Nintendo.
The fad died out way before the Switch launched, who thought people would want this!?
Bluuuuuuuh. Hard to get excited about this. Pokemon with couch co-op sounds incredible, but with Pokemon Go capture mechanics? I’m skeptical, but I won’t dismiss it just yet.
“Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee appear to be inspired by the mega-popular mobile game Pokémon Go”
“That evening, he says, he received an email from Jill Soloway (which Soloway confirms she sent). “She wrote these words: ‘They have been after Maura from the beginning.’”
You’re entire argument seems to be “trans women wouldn’t do this because x.” To review my argument is based on motive, sentiments from the show’s trans creator, and a lack of any other allegations over the span of 40 years. Ultimately both of our beliefs are based mostly on specualation, that’s what makes these…
Yeah that’s a pretty blatant false equivalency. Me saying he’s been working in film and TV for decades was not using fame as defense. It was using the fact that there had never been any prior allegations as a defense. There were allegations against Cosby for decades that no one took seriously until a man made a joke…
There’s evidence that these particular women are liars including motive and sentiments from the show’s trans creator. Do you have any evidence other than #allmenaretrash and #transgirlsarebeautiful?
Trans women can’t be liars?
