The fun part here is how much short-term memory Gamers have.
Marvel almost certainly demanded approval on all the art for their characters. Clearly Capcom didn’t spend as much time on their side.
They lifted the bulk of assets from UMVC3
Have to admit. I lost all interest in this after seeing Mahvel Ball Z.
Welcome to the strange reality where Netherrealm Studios is getting praised for their faces while Capcom is getting criticized for theirs.
Honestly....I think that swapping faces with Ken actually improved Chun-Li.....
I still don’t get the hate for DmC. That was actually a good game and it was the first time Dante was actually fleshed out as anything more than a snarky quip generator. It was far superior to Devil May Cry 4 in just about every way, and obviously Devil May Cry 2. I personally like it better than Devil May Cry 1…
For me it’s the eyes.
Much less a preorder for the deluxe edition which they keep shoving down our throats. I was appalled at the end of the demo where it had an option to preorder it directly finishing it as if that painfully terrible demo would inspire such. I don’t know why sigma and black panther are dlc characters when it’s been made…
I just bought ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 and now the differences in graphics are so noticable. Also was hoping for more new cast. I know theres still time to announce but do we really need spencer again? Capcom should try to add some BoF characters
It doesn’t help that all of those grey background pictures they released as official are god-awful on the technical aspect. Bad lighting, poor posing, awful choice on background. Even the better-looking models in the game look like shit.
It doesn’t at all. Something about Cap’s proportions really bug me too. And don’t get me started on Captain Marvel’s hair.
Dante looks sorta like a young Bryan Fury from the Tekken series now. Very odd. The baby doll tweet is also very on point with Chun-Li.
While playing the demo, I was laughing so hard when I saw Chun Li next to Captain Marvel. It doesn’t look like the same artist worked on those two 3D models.
