i live in canada, but the missus and i are looking at joining a co-op in nicaragua. we’ll gladly loan out our spot here to some yanks, though!

...or the majority of college-educated white men, who voted for this buffoon? or the 66% of white women, a healthy portion of whom surely don’t live in the rust belt, who felt this spray-tanned buttnugget was a better choice than one of their own?

canada would love to have you and/or join up as your lame little brother

...yes? they have another logo.

the sens could lose the next 70 games of the season and i’d still be happy with them after last night.

Juan Guzman.

winnipeg very warmly invites you to stop by sometime! it’s in the middle of nowhere, it’s the coldest large city in the world, it’s often pointed to as being the most racist city in canada, it’s pretty ugly in most parts, the river floods most years, and the crime rate is super high, BUT the people are almost TOO

congratulations, you’re the democrats now!

malatesta = ache + head in italian, so yes, dude is living up to his name.

note: supporting the Cleveland Indians on Vancouver Island is like supporting the, uhh, Skokie Himmlers in Haifa. proceed with caution.

what’s the most personally painful sports event you’ve ever seen? i’m a lifelong packers fan who got the pleasure of seeing both the fail mary AND the 2015 NFC championship game in person. seattle is dead to me.

i think choosing the name DJWiteboi probably ceded that vote haha

why do bar managers think people want to listen to live music? it’s like putting on a play in the middle of a restaurant.

how the indians only get a fraction of the shit that the redskins do boggles my mind, but i guess a) dan snyder and b) dan snyder.

All I see is this

i gotta say, as a non-toronto native living in toronto, it’s warmed my cockles to see the biggest group of downtrodden sports fans in north america (very cautiously) enjoy sports success the last year or so. everyone’s all “we’re just happy to be here! the journey’s the real story! hey, anything from here on is just

the dude doing the narration is a delight too

as a general rule of thumb:

i never really “got” what was so great about toronto (i mean, besides the music and general big city stuff you don’t get in smaller ontario cities) till i went to a raps game c. 2009.

i only ever saw TFC play Liverpool at skydome a few years back, and it was like 80% Liverpool fans, and i got horrendously drunk, so it was... fun? i think? i would think the makeup of soccer fans in toronto would probably make it a more tolerant atmosphere, though.
