Oh man, that book looks awesome. I think I might need it! Although, needlework seems super intimidating to me. Sewing in the ends of the tatting is hard enough to do without making it look busted!

You should try it! I’ve heard that it’s hard for people who are great with knitting and crochet-ing to learn, because it’s so different. I’m left handed, so I could never get the hang of knitting. I lucked out with tatting!

Thank you! I just followed a pattern! The neck turned out smaller than I would have wanted it for myself, but RBG has a gorgeous swan neck and it will probably fit perfectly (I hope).

I’m from Houston, TX! I think tatting is still quite popular in Croatia / eastern Europe? There are a lot of posters on this tatting Facebook group that are from that region. They make the most beautiful things!

Thank you! I do shuttle! I’ve never learned to needle tat, but it looks hard to me, haha. You know, the neat thing about tatting is that once you master the basics (which, admittedly takes a lot of time and patience), you can basically tackle any pattern! I’ve only been doing it for a year!
