Having a character be gay doesn’t equal talking about sex. Or, if it does, we better not have any straight characters either, including adult characters. Because viewers like you can’t even think about anyone’s orientation without immediately fantasizing about sex.

It’s a terrible idea, telling a certain group of young children that there’s something wrong and shameful about them just because of who they are.
