Our healthcare system as a whole isn’t really capable of handling a massive outbreak that would require extensive hospitalization and isolation. The surge capacity is just not there for a lot of areas. Been that way for ages. Even under much better conditions, this threat would still be pretty major.

There’s nothing that I’ve found that actually suggests their skipping it in its entirety. Harlan’s World could be where the bulk of the season lies and they can still hit parts of the other stuff in that book. Without knowing more about the cast, don’t think we can really say for sure nothing in book 2 will be covered…

Yep. This is true. But given Mackie’s casting, this series is likely going to cover events of book 2... so he wouldn’t be in an Asian sleeve. Really don’t have much in the way of casting to guess where they’re taking it, though having Poe around suggests a different route entirely.

They’ll probably incorporate elements of book 2 into the series because book 3 felt like the worst of the them, imo. They also used or invalidated several beats from book 3 in the first season.

IIRC, the temporal heavy set of ships that the Ent-J was apart of (KDF and Roms got variants too) were all stupidly huge, with the Ent-J being the largest at that point (I haven’t played in years). I kind of doubt they made more ships of that scale to make it seem “not as large.” Did they?

But is it larger than the Enterprise-J?

The Sunny team’s solo projects have all been pretty neat, but short lived.
