I was just saying that I’d be fine with curbside recycling not being single-stream in my area if they accepted plastic bags/films too, and pointing out that those can be taken to stores. The plastic bag/film labels looks they’re being updated to indicate that they should be taken to a store that accepts plastics

Bubble wrap-type stuff should be recycled with plastic bags. Amazon’s packaging now has “store drop-off” labels on theirs.

Yeah, I’m going to be real sad when Netflix requires a credit card to be tied to your account even if you’re paying for the service with gift cards. You don’t even have to worry about forgetting to unsub.

Ah, I didn’t mind the fingerprint scanners. Just not a fan of facial recognition stuff. It’s too passive... maybe when I feel like buying a new phone it’ll be available in some fashion?

I don’t want facial recognition and the fingerprint scanner is more convenient than entering the code. Maybe next year? haha.. .

How else can you defeat high definition 4K broadcasts showing people’s pores?

It’s not just clueless-grandparents that fall for this stuff though. And if you factor in the how disproofs and corrections by the media are often just threadbare efforts with only a fraction of the coverage or reach that any outrageous thing gets... and it’s a no win situation.

Wait, what? Did you forget about Stan?

Is it weird that specify that the water must be “municipal” in that recipe?

Oh, I read somewhere that they had to cut the other people out of the car. Assumed that was why it looked like that. Trying to find it.

Given how comments on articles are bringing it up when they’re not doing variants of short jokes anyway I imagine they thought they would be remiss if they didn’t. iirc, the same stuff happened when Tracy Morgan got wrecked too.

huh, I assumed the only reason they survived that crash was because the car had a roll cage...

Spiders is a small indie company, and they don’t make AAA budget games is all... So, if you’re hyping this the same headspace as a AAA game like a Witcher or a Dragon Age, the reality may be jarring, is all I was saying. Here’s hoping this is the game that serves as a stepping stone into that tier though. Because I’ve

Spiders is a small indie company and they don’t make AAA games. So I feel that comparing this to a Witcher or a Dragon Age game is kind of putting it at an disadvantage. The Technomancer was their most recent game, and it released to average reviews. Bear in mind, I liked The Technomancer, and I’m buying this game

Yeah, looking forward to it. But boy are people not used to Spiders games or expecting this to be a Bioware or Witcher game going to be surprised. Kind of worried for them because of that too, ha...

If people hear it, they might like it... but it’s gotta happen more organically, imo. I mean, presenting the artist in a “why do people listen to X when there’s Y” kinda set doesn’t really help because you’re grounding the introduction in negativity. Not to mention, maybe this—a response about Thomas Sowell in a post

Eh, I think it’s genre and general audience appeal than anything... you hardly hear about Mirel Wagner or Andreya Triana either. Lianne La Havas, Emile Sande, Corrine Bailey Rae, and Esperanza Spalding get some mention, but they’re not as big names. Ala.Ni got an uptick because of Cherry Blossom being on Russian Doll.

What are you talking about? The Temple kids living in those 2 story houses converted into quadruple or more apartments are all saints. /s

I thought it was a wax statue of him.

Yeah, I think Jay changed up his hair from getting all cut down to nothing to hide to just letting it show for what it is.
