Yeah, gunshot wounds have never really been more than minor inconveniences to name characters on this show. It’d be weird for that to change now, especially given what Sofia Falcone just survived (which didn’t even seem to surprise anyone).

Selina’s got at least eight lives left.

Let’s just mentally amend to “when will we, a bunch of countries that give off the appearance of having their shit together, get serious about mental illness?” and call it a day. We all know he meant. Stop being pedantic, people.

Sure, Jan.

Action moments, car crashes and other general destruction of property, veteran high-profile cast members, lots of outdoor location shooting; but I’m just spitballing. Maybe it’s not. Seems like it is.

Barney Miller-style

Pretty much always gonna be a money thing

I get why Ra’s is so obsessed with Bruce. I even got Jerome’s obsession. I really don’t get why Jeremiah sees him as anything other than a traumatized rich kid. (And Jesus Christ Wayne Manor needs better security.)

Next week on Gotham:

The Good Place forking rules and if you don’t like it you have shirt taste.

Noooo!

I don’t know about the greater themes of it, but pyramid head was absolutely having sex with that monster in the apartment. I remember being weirded out by it as a kid

I’ve never played a single Silent Hill game, but even I know of the sexual symbolism he represents. The game is almost 17 years old; these theories have been around for a long time. I’m sure the author did not come up with these connotations completely on her own (or at all).

The developers have literally talked about the sexual elements of the game, the monsters, mary, pyramid head, and james’ sexual repression etc, (and I don’t know how this isn’t the most obvious thing just from playing the game, it’s apart of everything in the game) not that the word of the developers should even

I think people react to and interpret art and entertainment in a variety of ways. If film theory is a legitimate discipline, then why not video game theory? It certainly doesn’t apply to every game, and sometimes symbolism can be a real reach. I’m not claiming that, you know, Tetris is about man’s Sisyphean struggles

I mean, they made Grand Theft Auto 5 and that was a bit of a mess so...

Hiro Murai and Glover are the power combo of the decade, as far as I’m concerned. I have no clue what the hell they’re gonna do after Atlanta, and that excites me more than just about any other creative team on the face of the planet.

When I first watched it on SNL, I did not get it at all, it just seemed nonsensical.

I wonder how many people would have believed you if you told them there would be a movie with an anthropomorphic tree calling a raccoon “dad” before dying, and that said scene would have left them in tears.

Also, I totally missed that Groot died and that this was his son. I just figured it was grown from some remaining

Nah, Ill just disagree, and watch the movie again, with pleasure.
