The ultimate show of stupidity and gluttony. What’s the point of this waste exactly? These inbred blue collars really shouldn’t be complaining about jobs going to Mexico, especially when their own business seems to be going so well that they can waste jet fuel and protein for fun. While millions of people are

Agreed. But at least it will reduce the amount of slave labor around the world. Clothing & shoes are such commodities these days, their production can be completely automated from top to bottom. That said, there will always be a luxury/niche market for ‘custom’ or ‘handmade’ or ‘tailor-made’ stuff.

Interestingly, the shoe you posted is the Asian made “Hamburg” shoe. The Made in Germany (MIG) version uses premium calf leather, a real natural gum sole and a brass pin on the ankle. It also only comes in a deep burgundy or extremely dark navy (that looks almost black). But you get all that quality for a lower

It’ll be extremely ironic when Adidas starts making shoes in the US next year:

Interesting that shoes are brought up. Adidas actually sells a number of premium models that are handmade in Germany (google ‘adidas hamburg mig’ for example). They’re produced in small batches, but are still affordable / comparable in price to Nike’s overpriced Chinese slave labor shoes. And on that note, Adidas

Because the shitty Nissan Frontier will handle better than something based on the G-Wagen, and that’s really what people who buy luxury trucks want. Also since the production numbers for G’s are already low, I’d imagine the production costs are also much higher compared to the abundant Nissan. I agree though. Why

The dash looks *exactly* like the 2008 G37 coupe I had. And I mean exactly like it. Did they not update the interior all these years??

I agree with the space part. That’s why we’ll see more vans as opposed to SUVs. SUVs can’t really maximize on space, due to ground clearance and shorter wheelbases (for true offroaders anyway). With a van, you have more floor space, a larger cabin and a much better aerodynamic profile.

Autonomous cars won’t work on roads that aren’t paved/marked in a certain way, because it’s too difficult for the cameras & sensors to recognize the path the car is traveling in. I.e. they have to see little stripes, signs and lanes to make sense of where they’re going. That said, you don’t need an SUV for ‘bad

4Runner hasn’t been updated in almost 7 years now. I’m pretty sure we’ll see a new model for the next year (2018), since 7-8 years seems to be the usual interval for SUVs. But it definitely would be sweet if we could get a FJ40-style Wrangler competitor.

Can you explain why this is? I always hear this argument, but have yet to hear a real explanation. There are literally thousands of Land Cruiser 200s with IFS in the deserts of the Middle East and Africa. The Ford Raptor has a IFS, and so do some desert racing trucks. And guess what “lifestyle” vehicle also has an

Unless you’re towing, you don’t really need more power. And if you’re primarily towing, you should just get a truck anyway. I have a ‘16 4R trail and the power is totally adequate (had a turbo car before this).

I’d buy the shit out of a LC 70 GXL Wagon!

I doubt it. The trend is to continually improve aerodynamic profile, especially with electric vehicles that try to maximize efficiency. SUVs have ride height for ground clearance, so they can clear obstacles. But most, if not all, autonomous cars will be traveling on predictable roads where lots of ground clearance

So they’re basically like normal people then.

So it’s still technically a hit and run. Him pushing the other car out of the way is still considered a collision. Feeling threatened is not a very good reason to flee the scene. If the guy came out with a gun, then OK sure, but he was just yelling, which happens in every road rage incident.

I get the joke, but that’s a 70s maybe 80s era bike, so it’s most likely a 6 speed. 10-speed drivetrains didn’t come out until the early 2000s.

This might be obvious, but the correct tire pressure can make a big difference. Even a few PSI makes a big difference, especially for offroad oriented tires.

LOL spoken like a true fat & lazy American, who’s deathly afraid of the outside world. Why do you even live in Brooklyn if you hate bikes? Move to the suburbs where you belong, fatty. If you want to be a hipster so badly, then you’ll have to play the part. You can’t just be a fat suburbanite redneck and hate bikes.
