Remember when gas/oil prices went up really high and flight prices skyrocketed because of it? And they crammed more seats on planes and charged us heavy fees for bags? Then fuel/oil prices dropped drastically and the flight prices never went down and fees never went away? Fuck everything about the airlines.

How I heard that comment in my head:

Yss, they both use red LED lighting. Good catch... that’s very unoriginal of Lexus.

Yeah I was shopping 4-Runners but opted to go WRX because I wanted something sporty for a while and couldn’t justify the $7k bump to get the Trail that I wanted.

I tend to agree with you but what baffles me about this, is that they will still spend extra money to tweak something when they could not tweak anything, save the money, and still get a few sales. As in - why even make the Allroad (which doesn’t really sell) when you can just offer an A4 wagon, therefore not having

Yep. They were sliding downhill with their wheels locked. If they took their foot off the brakes, they’d get steering back. That’s exactly what ABS was developed to do - not so much to get you stopped, but to allow you to steer because it prevents the wheels from lock and removing your ability to steer. People get

We all have naked bodies yet we are all so ashamed of them. Yet we now regularly watch people get shot and die on the news. I get it but I don’t.

Gotcha. More like a 5-speed, dual range transmission.

Agreed, and on point.

Because sneakers sell in vastly larger volumes than boots do.

Clearly a Trump voter.

Jeep DGAF is my impression, they sell so many 4-door Wranglers as mall crawlers and then the automotive press gobbles that up as “WRANGLERS DOMINANT”, when the 4-door has a 116 inch wheelbase and isn’t offroaded by the vast majority of their owners.

I can’t comment on the 4Runner but my FJ does quite well off-road. It’s not the TRD package but it came with a rear locker which helps immensely. Mine’s pretty much stock but it’s gotten me pretty far and there is a large enough after market for it to take it as far as you’d want to go. For off-roading, for long

Except it comes with 2 things a Grand Cherokee doesn’t. Reliability and resale value.

4Runner is without a doubt a better vehicle than Wrangler. But the Wrangler just looks so much cooler. ;)

I had a 12' FJC TT, and it was awesome. They could legit offroad, particularly the TT models with locking diffs and whatnot. I loved it.

You’re also getting a lot with the 4Runner though. I test drove a few Wranglers that were spec-ed to 31-32k and I wondered where the hell the money went because the interior not only doesn’t really look utilitarian, it looks downright cheap. Whereas with the 4Runner, at 34k, you pretty much get all the options that

As someone who loves the 3rd gen 4Runner, dislikes the 4th gen, and is conflicted about the 5th gen. I like where your mind is. I mean, the REAR WINDOW ROLLS DOWN.

FT-4X makes a sick kind of heratige sense too, since the Land Cruiser people all remember is an FJ-40. I think its a lame name, but at least it makes some sense. plus it leaves the door tantalizingly open for various wheelbase options (FT-43/45). The 70 series is getting a complete hugely expensive overhaul to meet
