Jeep DGAF is my impression, they sell so many 4-door Wranglers as mall crawlers and then the automotive press gobbles that up as “WRANGLERS DOMINANT”, when the 4-door has a 116 inch wheelbase and isn’t offroaded by the vast majority of their owners.

I can’t comment on the 4Runner but my FJ does quite well off-road. It’s not the TRD package but it came with a rear locker which helps immensely. I had a 12' FJC TT, and it was awesome. They could legit offroad, particularly the TT models with locking diffs and whatnot. I loved it.

I test drove a few Wranglers that were spec-ed to 31-32k and I wondered where the hell the money went because the interior not only doesn’t really look utilitarian, it looks downright cheap.
