I had the same thought while watching it, but also activism like that also relies on a certain amount of luck- you need to make sure it will hit the right nerve at the right time. There’s a chance that if she did it a few days later, news may not have spread as far/the same way. Butterfly effect and all that.

Clown fish and similar species (ie other damsels) do well as they are all captive bred. Soft corals also do well (again, many are captive bred).
People have been keeping cat sharks for ages, this is not really that new or weird.
Part of the issue (that the resolution was targeting) is that formula companies give out free samples of formula, that last juuust long enough (intentionally) for women to stop producing milk, in areas where they either cannot afford formula or don’t have access to clean water.

Can we just take a moment to address how clay is the literal worst? He makes everything about him and I hated how the show rewarded that. “You’re so brave, Clay” says every character ever. What did he do that was brave (pre shooting bs)? Why is he moping bc she had sex with other people?
I try to imagine caring sooooo much about something so minor that doesn’t effect me at all. And I just can’t.

He gives off a really weird culty vibe there.... like he guides her questions the way the hostage taker in a movie does. “we had a great time, didn’t we?” (Insert menacing stare). The way she constantly stares at him skeeves me out.
My college department, I’d say the same ratio of female students experienced some form of abuse/assault. Honestly, your stat probably matches women in general, and is not unique to strippers/porn stars.
