Well done sir. +1

All I ask for is meaningful September games. We haven't had meaningful September baseball in this town since 1998 when they went on a mini-run and kind of climbed back in the race. Give me a tense September that comes down to the last two weekends and I'll be satisfied.

I've been saying this all year. It's only taking 88-90 games to win the division, maybe 91, because they'll all be beating each other up. If the Angels keep playing like shit (which seems likely) the East will get the last wild card spot, but that's the only way. I have no idea which of the 5 will take the East but

I still think the AL East is only going to be won with 88 to 90 games, because all 5 teams will beat the crap out of each other and only one will survive at the end of the day. I have no idea which of the 5 will make it.

I will work with the family who wants him 1,500 is the asking price but we can negotiate the price. Just want him to have a good family

Heh

And all through the bar, as the tense game drew to a close, frenzied chants of LET'S GO EAT! tried to rally the waiters.

Los Angeles Southeast? That's being nice. LA has a (well-deserved) bad reputation, but those fans would never leave a playoff game in any sport. And I don't think you can put all Los Angeles sports fans together either: the hardcore Clippers fans who were there every night before Lob City made them cool, or the

My cousins may be the only rational Miami sports fans I know. They've been season ticket holders for the Marlins since 1993 (though I don't know if they renewed this year...wouldn't be shocked if they hadn't, despite connections in the franchise), I know they are hockey fans and used to have season tickets there

It wasn't a triple. It was a series of errors that allowed the runner to advance to third base while scoring two others. If there were no errors it would have been scored a triple.

That's nothing. Montreal didn't pay off Olympic Stadium until 2006, two years after the Expos left. And it's going to cost almost as much to dismantle it piece by piece over a 10 year period (can't blow it up because the subway runs right underneath and it's connected to other public buildings) as it did to build

If the NBA is really this intent on stopping the flops they should make it a technical foul. That might send a better message instead of what amounts to a $12 fine.

At least that park on the right has grass.

Turns out Maggie Lizer's lies helped her career after all.

Meanwhile the Jays and White Sox are in a fog delay on the south side.
