Yep, Fuel guy had to try three times to get the nozzle seated. When he finally did, you can see him shake his head. He knew he had cost his team the win.. Stunning attempt to make up for it though, and a great race to the line

“and pray to a higher power of choice that tonight’s launch is a success”

Sorry, as a marine biologist, I find this encounter interesting, and I am more than a little jealous. I don’t see it as a “I paid far too much money to do this and now that it is happening I am going to close my eyes and squeal until it goes away” kind of encounter

OMFG stop squealing. We get it, there is a shark there.. Another 10 seconds of that and I would have opened the door.

Maybe not nude, but certainly obscene

Best Memory, I got to hang out with one at the local dealership as it was being prepped.. Worst Memory.. it was not being prepped for me :(

Silly Desert Eagle :)

I use hockey pucks on strings as targets all the time. .22lr, 5.56, .45 and 50AE. It will go through, and chip bits off, but it holds up remarkably well.. I would not use it for protection though....

Have a look at 3DR. I have been using their stuff for years, and have been impressed with both the product and the customer service. They are rolling out a new quad very soon as well

I like where they are going, but the $3200 quad does not include the $1000 guidance system. Sticking with my homebuilt 3DR for a little bit before dropping more cash, things are moving so quickly. Would love to get ungrayed at some point as well :)

My Mother in Law is creating one as we speak.. She has a 1978 MGB. She drove it for 20 years, then let it sit. It has now been sitting under a tarp in her garage, and has been for 15 years. When I offer to get it running for her, she always finds an excuse for not doing it. I actually got it running for her about 7

I have the same feelings about autonomous vehicles as I do gay marriages. I really don’t care who has one, as long as you don’t make me have one.

Like there is not already 3 other phones all capable of being hotspots already in the car

Now playing

Go have a look at these guys: http://3drobotics.com/ I built mine a few years ago, but the latest stuff coming out is incredible, both how sophisticated it is getting, and how easy it is to fly

Many of the hobby drones (higher end) are more than capable of handling high winds and gusts, and the stabilized gimbals give a nice smooth video feed. Many are completely autonomous as well. Here is an image of mine in 25 mph wind, and coming in for a landing. The entire flight came from a few swipes on an android

Beautiful Landseer!

A big part of the fun in my car is the massive single stage turbo. Under 3700rpm, the car is

Good idea, when my wife was having Chemo we had a friend who is a nurse drop by to give the injection, but this would have been much more convenient.
