Same on PS4, but I think they were calling it a ‘beta’.

Or most people reviewers didn’t mind the system. I’ve enjoyed the system through the whole game, because it keeps me from hoarding good weapons or relying on a single type.

Yeah, honestly it feels like one of the more plot heavy Zelda games to me, but that may just be because of comparatively heavy backstory among characters.

The sparks actually indicate you have a metal weapon/bow, or shield equipped. If you switch to all off or wooden/stone you’ll be less likely to be struck, and if you are struck it will deal significantly less damage.

As I found out before putting on pants, if you do the kick naked he’ll hurt himself.

I remember the anime nerds being on the opposite extreme, calling it baby’s first anime and deriding any fans for not having better taste. Really it fell somewhere in the middle.

I also love how you can cook meat by killing a beast with a fire weapon. You can freeze food in cold areas too to get heat resistance as well.

Oh wow, last I’d seen was the gunner, I didn’t know they added 3 more. All female only and 2 being Elin only. Thats such a let down.

I hate that they have 2 classes locked behind race/gender walls, but I’ll probably still pick it up and give it another go.

20th anniversary is good, but the bloodborne one is the best ever. It plays literally like a window into the hunter’s dreams, and I haven’t seen another theme look so good.

Personally I found her one of the easiest bosses in the entire game, and that may be why I like her. It lets you feel like you’re really this experienced hunter when you fight her.

The hunter fights in general are the best in the game, Maria’s especially is so fun, its fast paced and parrying works really well.

Its a crime that this had to come out at the same time as Zelda, I wish it’d come out the first week of January or something so it would have more time to shine.

Young Aloy dug a trench in the uncanny valley and gave birth to nightmares.

It feels like a lot of old zelda items are in the game, I mean boomerangs, elemental rods, mirror shields ( kind of). They just aren’t required. Cutting grass is great for collecting materials though, lizards and rice and bugs a plenty.

That may be a Shoujo thing, I mean look at the main character of Fruit’s basket. I never noticed it till I was rewatching it recently but DAMN.

I could understand these posts when the article were called “how to play ____ the best way” because that sounded condescending. Now its like “heres some tips for new game” and people are still complaining.

True, but thats for people buying now. I know I only upgrade every 4-5 years, and the cheap-midrange stuff I bought 2 years ago don’t quite cut the muster.

If they want the everyman, I don’t think knocking the cost down will do the job either, they’d need to figure out how to lower the required specs for the PC as well.

I was guessing a angle trick, but I don’t see a shadow or anything. Either a master angle or that guy is really going for authenticity.
