I’d watch a Farrelly Brothers’ Star Trek (“There’s Something About Uhura”) or Judd Apatow-styled Star Trek (“Helmsman: The Legend of Hikaru Sulu”).

Or, because the comics are so damned obscure and failed, the movies have an almost blank slate to work with. I haven’t heard of them until today but judging by the titles, we could be in for some campy good fun. 

Or like how Bond was only equipped with a gun, slightly advanced cell phone and a high tech med kit in his (required) sports car for Casino Royale. No invisible cars or wristwatches shooting lasers.
