Nooooo shorts should always be shorter than knee length. Ugh. Otherwise you’re basically wearing capris. Or cargo shorts.
Show a little thigh. It’s okay.

Different strokes, I guess, because, except for John Oliver, Lena Headey, and Peter Dinklage, I would literally pick the exact opposite of your picks.
THE AMERICANS YASSSS.
Best show on TV by miles. Finally an Emmy nom for Best Drama, and both lead actors too!
This is super topical right now because my favorite local “artisan” sandwich place down the street just scrapped their entire lunch menu and now one of the only items on the (lunch) menu is avocado toast. For thirteen (!) dollars. Um no, I can make that shit at home for literally pennies. Stop trying to make this some…
Obviously there’s a long way to go, but I think younger generations are getting more savvy than boomers ever were. I graduated from college in the middle of the recession, watched my mother file bankruptcy, have seen my friends struggle with debt, etc. All of that emphasizes the importance of saving for retirement,…
I love this song! I’ve thought about using it one day, too, because it makes me think of my boyfriend, but it is pretty mellow, so I might go with “We Found Each Other In The Dark.”
Season 2 was excellent. I’m excited to see how it ends.
I do not like Russell Tovey with blond hair...
Yeah, I think that’s her point? If she’s not salaried, then she can be docked (or forced to take PTO) for weeks where she doesn’t work 40 hours. If you’re exempt & salaried, then a lot of employers don’t care if you work 35 hours or 65, as long as the work gets done (varies by employer obviously).
A former employee of the Wylie Agency said assistant literary agents there — usually eight to 10 in the New York office — typically earned in the $30,000s and routinely worked 50 to 60 hours a week without overtime pay.
You don’t think that’s how a (sheltered) teenage girl would react if she found out her parents were spies? Besides, I think a lot of teenagers are flat/one-note...
The actress that played Nina is now going to be on Tyrant. Maybe she can make it better?
She’s realistic, but definitely not interesting.
I’ve got “Stan will end up thinking Pastor Tim and Alice are the spies he’s after”, since Philip & Elizabeth in disguise and in bad-sketch form look a little like T&A (T&A, tee-hee)
And then maybe from there, he’ll finally uncover Philip & Elizabeth (at the end of Season 6)
Sorry, that’s the worst theory ever and it’s all over the internet anyway. The Americans is too smart a show for a ridiculous 24-like twist like that.
His weave is pretty jacked up though, I’ll give you that.
Yes, but Elizabeth is a huge idiot for wanting to reveal the secret in the first place. Who didn’t see this coming? “Oh okay, my parents are Commie spies - cool! I’m totally not gonna confide in my Pastor who I trust way more than my shifty parents who are out late and come home smelling like gun powder and Glanders.”
Can confirm; I binge watched the first two seasons on Amazon Prime a year ago and was quickly obsessed.
OMGGGGG I love this show and I wish The Muse did weekly recaps. I can’t believe it’s so not-watched by the masses (well actually I can, people are idiots, but still).
Yep. I’m a man, but I recognize that most men have huge pores, blackheads, dry/flaky skin etc more often.
So was he on Skagos or with the Umbers?
Jon was burned in season one (when fighting that wight that tried to kill Mormont). Sorry.
